Student Ordered To Remove NRA T-Shirt

Orange County High School says NRA
T-Shirt Promotes Gun Violence

The People's Republic of California  -  A student at a high school in Anaheim Hills said administrators ordered her to change out of a T-shirt that promoted the National Rifle Association.

Sophomore Haley Bullwinkle said when she wore her NRA shirt to Canyon High School last month, she landed in the principal’s office for violating the school’s dress code that forbids offensive, violent or divisive clothing.

“They were treating me like I was a criminal,” she said. “I was not allowed to wear that at school because it promoted gun violence,” reports CBS News Los Angeles.

The shirt, which was a gift from Bullwinkle’s father when he became a card-carrying member of the NRA, features a buck, an American flag and a hunter’s silhouette. It also has the words “National Rifle Association of America: Protecting America’s Traditions Since 1871” written in the center.
Bullwinkle’s father said he emailed the school’s principal to find out why his daughter had to change her shirt.

Principal Kimberly Fricker responded in an email, which said, in part, “The shirt had a gun on it, which is not allowed by school police. It’s protocol to have students change when they’re in violation of the dress code.”

The girl’s father, who has retained an attorney, now wants to know how the school defines violence. He said the drill team is allowed to twirl fake rifles and the mascot is a Comanche.

“I think that if you consider the hunter, the image of the hunter to be offensive, certainly there are groups that would consider the Comanche Indian chief to be offensive,” he said.

Visa Goes Anti-Gun - Restricts Transactions

VISA - An arm of the Democrat Party
Gun grabbing socialist pigs attack gun stores
by preventing them from using credit cards.

The assault on the U.S. Constitution and the Second Amendment continues.

This time big business is getting into the mix and they’re aiming for gun stores right at the source of their revenues – their transaction processing facilities.

According to Larry Hyatt, owner of the largest gun brokerage firm in the United States, Authorize.net, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Visa USA and one of the world’s largest credit card processing gateways, has terminated their relationship with the firm reports the Washington Examiner.

After four years in business with the Visa owned Authorize.net, Larry Hyatt, owner of Hyatt Gun Shop, received an email indicating that the company would no longer provide its services due to “the sale of firearms or any similar product.”
The email reads:
Dear Hyatt Gun Shop Inc,
Authorize.Net LLC (“Authorize.Net”) has determined that the nature of your business constitutes a violation of Section 2.xiv of the Authorize.Net Acceptable Use Guidelines and Sections 3.3 and 11.3 of the Authorize.Net Service Agreement (the “Agreement”).
These sections include, but are not limited to, the sale of firearms or any similar product.
Accordingly, pursuant to Section 4 of the Acceptable Use Guidelines, your ability to access and use the Authorize.NetServices will be terminated on September 30, 2013.
Hyatt’s massive online store will be unable to process credit card transactions, giving the store only a few days to find a new processing company before Authorize.net terminates their business relationship.
“We’ve never seen anything like this,” Hyatt Marketing Director Justin Anderson told the Washington Examiner.

All of a sudden, after four years of doing business together, Authorize.net declares that Hyatt Gun Shop is in violation of their terms of agreement.

An odd coincidence to be sure, but not if you consider that many top executives at Visa have donated to President Obama’s election campaigns. With President Obama renewing his push for gun control in the wake of the Navy Yard shooting last week, and Americans ardently opposing any legislative action that would further restrict the ownership of firearms, it looks as if anti-gun politicians are now calling in favors with their connections in big business.

Kerry to Sign U.N. Gun Registration Treaty

Mental Illness Update  -  The sick Socialist Democrat obsession with abolishing the 2nd Amendment and banning guns has long passed the point of no return and become a mental illness.  While the economy borders on collapse, Democrats spend endless time trying to prevent any American of any race from being able to defend themselves from criminals.

Our Secretary of State, Comrade John Kerry has signed an arms trade treaty opposed by the Senate and the gun lobby as early as Wednesday, and Republicans aren’t happy about it.

Kerry’s plan to sign the treaty on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York this week has sparked immediate criticism from GOP opponents reports The Hill.

“This treaty is already dead in the water in the Senate, and they know it,” said Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services. “The Administration is wasting precious time trying to sign away our laws to the global community and unelected U.N. bureaucrats.”

A majority of Senate oppose the treaty because it covers small arms, making ratification impossible in the short term.

The news sparked immediate criticism from Republicans.

An Inhofe amendment to the Senate Budget resolution in March blocking the U.S. from joining the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty garnered 53 “yes” votes.

The National Rifle Association insists the pact is a U.N.-backed gun grab.

The new treaty also demands domestic regulation of “small arms and light weapons.” The treaty’s Article 5 requires nations to “establish and maintain a national control system,” including a “national control list.” Article 10 requires signatories “to regulate brokering” of conventional arms.

California to Outlaw Hunting?

The Socialist are coming for your guns.
12 gun bills await Leftist Governor Jerry Brown’s signature.

The People's Republic of California  -  Despite unconstitutional gun-free zone laws that kept navy servicemen from defending themselves last week during the Washington Navy Yard shooting, 12 gun bills await California Governor Jerry Brown’s signature, including one that will eliminate a favorite pastime as American as apple pie and baseball.

The bills, passed by the Democrat-controlled California state legislature, seek to outlaw even more guns and ammunition, and will additionally target hunting, even though according to the Brady Campaign California already has the most restrictive gun laws in the nation.

Senate Bill 374 seeks to ban “all semi-automatic guns with a detachable magazine, including hunting rifles,” according to The Washington Times.

But it is Assembly Bill 711 that has most people worried. It aims to outlaw lead ammunition, which in turn will effectively ban hunting because, as The Times noted, “…about 95 percent of all ammunition sold in California contains lead,” reports Infowars News.

AB-711 attacks hunting in a roundabout way by claiming that prohibiting lead ammo is about preserving the environment and wildlife, not about restricting the sporting activity.

The bill, which passed 44-29 in its final Assembly Floor vote, requires non-lead ammo be used when shooting any wildlife with any firearm and will go into effect no later than July 1, 2019, a protracted timeline which critics say negates the very purpose of the bill.

“If this is such an urgent threat to human and animal health, there’s no way they would push it back to 2019,” the spokesman for the union group Californians for Conversation, Tim Rosales, says.

AB-711 “…basically outlaws hunting,” says Assemblyman Brian Jones. He’s concerned that “If California outlaws lead bullets, the federal government already outlaws everything else, so there’s nothing left for hunters to use.”

Union leaders are urging Gov. Brown to veto the lead ban bill, lest he and other gun-grabbing politicians incur the same wrath from voters as two Coloradan Senators faced earlier this month when they were recalled from their positions.

Mark Gagliardi, an official with the Office and Professional Employees International Union Local 277 in Contra Costa County, says the bill will eliminate “one of the few things our working families enjoy and can afford.” “Sixty-five percent of all union households hunt, fish or enjoy the outdoors,” he said.

Additionally, one attorney says Gov. Brown may be setting himself up for a lawsuit should he approve the anti-hunting bill.

“This bill is proof that the slippery-slope argument is valid,” says Chuck Michel, an attorney for the National Rifle Association’s California chapter. “We hope the governor sees how particularly ill-advised this bill is, but if he signs it, the NRA will have no choice but to challenge the law.”

Gov. Brown hasn’t made a decision whether he will sign or veto the bills presented to him, but he has said that the shooting that took place at the Washington Navy Yard last week will not influence his decision. “If he does not act by Oct. 13,” the L.A. Times notes, “it becomes law without his signature.”

Below is a list of the bills awaiting the governor’s signature or veto, along with a list of state-wide firearm-related events.

Journalism professor hopes for murder of children of NRA members

DANGER  -  RETARD ALERT!

Retard Alert  -  A journalism professor (shock - who suspected that?) at the University of Kansas (KU) turned to Twitter on Monday to suggest he would like to see the murder of children of National Rifle Association (NRA) members at the hands of a deranged gunman.

“#NavyYardShooting The blood is on the hands of the #NRA,” tweeted David Guth, who is an associate professor of Journalism at the university’s William Allen White School of Journalism.\
Speaking with Campus Reform on Wednesday, Guth confirmed it was he who sent the controversial tweet.

“Hell no, hell no, I do not regret that Tweet,” he said. “I don’t take it back one bit.”

Guth also doubled down on the statement when other Twitter users pressed him, suggesting it was shameful to call for the death of children reports Campus Reform.

“God’s justice takes many forms,” he tweeted in response.

And on Monday the associate journalism professor echoed those sentiments on his personal blog, called Snapping Turtle.

“I don't wish what happened today on anyone,” he wrote. “But if it does happen again — and it likely will — may it happen to those misguided miscreants who suggest that today's death toll at the Navy Yard would have been lower if the employees there were allowed to pack heat.”

Also in his interview with Campus Reform, he said that he wished “a pox on our Congress and a pox on the NRA” for not instituting gun control policies to prevent mass shootings.

California to require a "Ammunition Purchase Permit"

California Democrats are Goosestepping
All together now:  "Sieg Heil"

If you listen carefully you can hear the jackboots in the streets of California.

A Fascist California State Senator's bill will force gun owners to go to Big Brother Government for a permit before they are allowed to buy ammunition.  In bill after bill Democrats dream up new ways to crack down, limit and restrict the 2nd Amendment rights of the people until that day comes when guns are confiscated.

A controversial gun measure proposed by a Southern California lawmaker that would require background checks for all ammunition purchases statewide is moving forward in Sacramento.

Senator Kevin de León (Socialist Democrat - Los Angeles) first introduced Senate Bill 53 last December, which would require anyone wishing to purchase ammunition in California to first obtain a Ammunition Purchase Permit issued by the Department of Justice, valid for one year from the date of issuance.

To obtain such a permit, the holder would have to pass a traditional background check as well as a mental health check, according to De León. The legislation would also ban online and mail order sales of ammunition to Californians.

In addition, SB 53 would require all ammunition sales to take place at a limited list of State-approved “ammunition vendors”, who would also be required to submit sales records to the CA Department of Justice.

It passed the state Senate 23-15 and is now pending in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.

Associated Press Seeks Full List Of Concealed Weapons Permit Holders

Associated Press Refuses to Comment on Demand for Concealed Weapon Permit Lists
You can almost guarantee if the AP is looking for a list of all concealed carry permits
in Montana they are seeking the same info from other states.

The Associated Press is refusing to comment on why it requested that the Montana Department of Justice (MDOJ) give it a list of the names and personal information of every concealed weapons permit (CWP) holder in the state.

“We do not comment on ongoing reporting efforts.” Those were the words of Jim Clarke, the regional bureau chief for the Associated Press in Denver, when asked about the attempt by the AP in Montana to gain access to the full list of concealed weapons permit holders in Montana.

Other questions, including a simple confirmation that the AP in Montana did indeed make the request, were met with the same “we do not comment on ongoing reporting efforts” response from a clearly agitated Clarke.

Earlier this week, I first broke the news that the Associated Press in Montana had asked Attorney General Tim Fox for a complete list of concealed weapons permit holders in the state.

Montana Media Trackers also dug into the story, uncovering emails showing that the request came from Montana AP reporter Matt Gouras. Media Tracker’s' Ron Catlett reached out to the AP for comment and was met with the same no comment response that I got.

Here’s more from Catlett’s report:
According to e-mails from MDOJ obtained by Media Trackers Montana, Montana AP reporter Matt Gouras formally requested the information on March 18.

“We’d like all public information included on each permit holder, including, but not limited to: last name, first name, middle, street address, city, employer, age or DOB, driver’s license number, date of application,” Gouras wrote in his request.

Media Trackers Montana reached out to Gouras, who said he “could not speak for the AP.” Gouras directed any inquiries to the head of the Montana Associated Press, Matt Volz, who, in-turn, directed Media Trackers to regional bureau chief Jim Clarke.

Adam Kokesh arrested for daring to post a You Tube video & fight for gun rights

I loaded a shotgun on Independence Day, but I didn't kill anybody. I didn't drone any children.  I didn't steal any children's future. I didn't sell this country into debt. I didn't do any of the crimes that the man two blocks over at the White House is responsible for."
Adam Kokesh

I don't know enough about Adam Kokesh to offer an informed opinion on him.  But I find it very interesting how Big Government targets those who dare to speak out about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

During a Thursday morning arraignment hearing outside of Washington, DC, jailed activist Adam Kokesh refused to answer questions from a judge and was told that he’ll continue to be locked up without bond.

Kokesh, 31, will likely now stay in a northern Virginia detention facility until a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 2 is held. He was arrested Tuesday evening at his Herndon, Virginia home and charged with drug and gun felonies.

The raid on Kokesh’s home occurred amid a US Park Police investigation which was brought on by a video that the Second Amendment activist posted on YouTube a week earlier.

In the clip, Kokesh is seen loading a shotgun in downtown DC’s Freedom Plaza - located just two blocks away from the White House reports RT News.

SWAT Team Raid on Kokesh Home was Illegal
Days after Adam Kokesh staged an open carry protest by loading a shotgun in Washington DC, "storm trooper" police raided the former Marine's home, smashing in his door and deploying a flash bang grenade before arresting Kokesh.

We will not be silent. We will not obey. We will not allow our government to destroy our humanity,” Kokesh said in the clip, which was recorded after his planned “Open Carry March” was cancelled amid warnings from law enforcement. "We are the final American Revolution. See you next Independence Day," he continued.

Kokesh hoped to have hundreds, perhaps thousands, of residents walk into the nation’s capital carrying loaded firearms in defiance of the district’s ban on guns outside the home.

After police concluded a search of Kokesh’s Herndon, VA house on Monday, they charged him with possession of a Schedule I or Schedule II narcotic, namely psychadelic mushrooms, and also having drugs while possessing a firearm. If convicted on that count alone, he would receive a minimum sentence of two years in jail.

Kokesh was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, but reportedly refused to leave his holding cell. He finally made his appearance before a judge the following morning, but had to be carted in on a wheelchair because he refused to cooperate.

"He happened to be in a wheeled chair because he did not want to walk," First Lieutenant Steve Elbert of the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office told WTOP News.

When he was wheeled before a judge to be arraigned, Kokesh reportedly refused to speak.

"I'll take your silence as your consent," a Fairfax County judge told him, according to WJLA News.

A friend of Kokesh told News4 Washington that refusing to leave the jail cell was meant to be an act of civil disobedience. The Sheriff's Office previously confirmed that Kokesh initially refused to be photographed or fingerprinted upon being detained.

Democrat wants National Guard to police Chicago

Democrat requests National Guard come to Chicago to
help stop war zone violence
Welcome to the growing militarization of America.

Out of control violence in Democrat run Chicago is so severe that a state lawmaker wants state police and the National Guard to assist the local cops.

State Rep. Monique Davis (D-Chicago) is making the request.

“I am requesting with this press conference that Gov. Patrick Quinn order the Illinois National Guard (and) the Illinois State Police (to) come to Chicago and work with our mayor Ron (sic) Emanuel to provide safety for the children, especially,” she said at a news conference in Springfield reports CBS News.

Other state lawmakers accompanied Davis to recognize the severity of the problem, and the extent to which it carries beyond Chicago’s troubled neighborhoods to the entire city and other parts of the state, but not necessarily to concur with her solution.

Over the holiday weekend, 74 people were shot and 12 killed in Chicago, and Davis says the police don’t have the manpower to make arrests.

A Canadian Gun Grab

Hell to pay:
Residents angry as RCMP seize guns from homes
  • ‘It’s just like Nazi Germany,’ says resident

HIGH RIVER, CANADA  -  Royal Canadian Mounted Police revealed Thursday that officers have seized a “substantial amount” of firearms from homes in the evacuated town of High River.

“We just want to make sure that all of those things are in a spot that we control, simply because of what they are,” said Sgt. Brian Topham.

“People have a significant amount of money invested in firearms … so we put them in a place that we control and that they’re safe.”

That news didn’t sit well with a crowd of frustrated residents who had planned to breach a police checkpoint northwest of the town as an evacuation order stretched into its eighth day reports Canada.com.

“I find that absolutely incredible that they have the right to go into a person’s belongings out of their home,” said resident Brenda Lackey, after learning Mounties have been taking residents’ guns.

“When people find out about this there’s going to be untold hell to pay.”

About 30 RCMP officers set up a blockade at the checkpoint, preventing 50 residents from walking into the town. Dozens more police cars, lights on, could be seen lining streets in the town on standby.

Officers laid down a spike belt to stop anyone from attempting to drive past the blockade. That action sent the crowd of residents into a rage.

“What’s next? Tear gas?” shouted one resident.

“It’s just like Nazi Germany, just taking orders,” shouted another.

“This is the reason the U.S. has the right to bear arms,” said Charles Timpano, pointing to the group of Mounties.

Officers were ordered to fall back about an hour into the standoff in order to diffuse the situation and listen to residents’ concerns.
