Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said Sunday that U.S. immigration reform is “one of the biggest civil rights issues of our time.”

Shit.  Now illegal and legal immigration is a fucking "Civil Right".

The 29-year-old billionaire, who has recently taken a more active role in calling for immigration reform, made the comment on ABC’s “This Week.” And he was immediately challenged by the interviewer, who suggested many Americans would likely disagree that providing a path to citizenship for some of the 11 million people living in this country illegally is a civil rights issue.

“There are a lot of misconceptions about that,” Zuckerberg responded. “A lot of them came here because they just want to work. They want to help out their families and they want to contribute,” reports Fox News.

Zuckerberg recently founded the group FWD.us with other Silicon Valley leaders “to promote policies to keep the United States and its citizens competitive in a global economy,” according to its website.

FWD.us’ key points include securing borders, the path to citizenship and support for issuing more H-1B visas.

The group argues the change will “attract the world’s best and the brightest workers.”

However, skeptics argue that allowing U.S. employers to "temporarily" hire more educated foreign workers for skilled jobs or “specialty occupations” in such fields as technology and engineering allows companies like Facebook to hire lower-paid immigrants over college-educated Americans.

The last will and testament of a Muslim man, which was prepared according to Greek civil law, has been annulled in the Greek Supreme Court because it is not compliant with Sharia law. 

Demeter Simeonidou, who was Muslim and lived in Thrace, wanted to leave all his assets to his wife. He prepared his will with this in mind under Greek law. But the will was challenged by Mr Simoenidou's sister who claimed that under Islamic law of succession, a Muslim does not have the right to make a public will and his assets must be distributed in accordance with Sharia.

The Supreme Court's decision overturns the rights of Greek minority Muslims in Thrace to prepare wills under Greek civil law, a right which they have enjoyed since 1946.

 

It is thought the decision will affect thousands of Muslims who have drawn up wills under the civil law, all of which may be invalid under the Supreme Court's ruling.

 

Previously only family law fell under the jurisdiction of Islamic muftis in Greece, but that was changed after Sharia courts were condemned by the Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights as being discriminatory against women.

"I will never, ever forgive the Labour party for allowing this mass immigration with no demands put on what people should be paid when they come to this country. “I find it really worrying that politicians tweet. That really worries the fuck out of me,” he said.

After a Kuwaiti official said the country may start using routine health screenings to detect homosexuality in expatriates seeking entry, Kuwaiti authorities announced their intention to increase enforcement of anti-gay legislation in both Kuwait and the Gulf countries.

For starters, Kuwaiti authorities are planning to propose a law mandating that foreign workers seeking to enter all Gulf states be required to pass a sexual orientation examination in addition to the standard medical examination.

 

Those found to be homosexual would be denied entry, according to a report by MEMRI says the Times of Israel.

Amnesty International condemned the proposal, urging Kuwait and the Gulf states to refrain from passing discriminatory legislation.

 

The Kuwaiti press also criticized the proposal, through parliamentarians were said to support it.

 

“The decision to prevent homosexuals from entering is good, and helps eliminate foreign phenomena in our society,” MEMRI quoted Kuwaiti MP Hussein Qawi’an as saying.

 

Another MP, Khalil al-Saleh, reportedly described the proposal as “preserving moral values and setting a boundary for this phenomenon, which is unacceptable in most societies.”

 

He added that the move did not limit personal liberty, but enforced moral and cultural norms.

A third parliamentarian, Sa’ud al-Hariji, said the proposal was “a sharia duty,” while a fourth, Hamoud al-Hamdan, said it protected Gulf societies against diseases brought by foreign workers who engage in “immoral practices.”

 

In Kuwait, convicted homosexuals under 21 may be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison. In August, the Kuwaiti parliament appointed a special committee to discuss “negative social phenomena,” chiefly homosexuality, which was described as “a sick phenomenon” that requires treatment, supervision, and even punishment.

(Vientiane, Laos)  Lao authorities have launched a pilot program in the capital Vientiane to regulate foreign workers in the country, who are taking thousands of low-skill jobs away from locals, according to officials.

As part of the project, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare is collecting data on foreign workers in the city and setting up a “one-stop service” where undocumented workers can go to sign up for permits, a senior official from the ministry told RFA’s Lao Service.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, did not say whether the documentation process was part of an amnesty for those working illegally, but local news reports did not rule out the prospects of deportation for some reports Radio Free Asia.

Efforts to regulate the city’s undocumented foreign workers—many of them from neighboring Vietnam, China, and Thailand—will be used to help develop similar programs in the rest of the country, he said.

There are an estimated 4,900 illegal workers in the city of Vientiane, many of them engaged in menial labor or in the construction industry.  

“Right now we don’t have a model that other provinces can follow. The capital Vientiane will be the test case, because it is central and administered by the Ministry of Home Affairs,” the official said.

Many Lao provinces, particularly those bordering China and Vietnam, face problems with foreigners entering the country on tourist visas and staying to work, he said.

According to recent statistics from the ministry collected as part of the pilot program, the city has some 7,500 foreign workers, 4,900 of them undocumented.

More than 3,200 of them are from Vietnam, 2,500 from China, 600 from Thailand, and 1,000 from other countries.

A North Carolina man has been indicted on a charge of trying to provide support to the Iraqi arm of al-Qaida by fighting in Syria’s civil war.

Basit Javed Sheikh, 29, was arrested at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Nov. 2 shortly before boarding a plane to Canada, with a final destination of Lebanon, according to federal court documents.

An indictment against him was unsealed three days later.

Sheikh, a Pakistan native who also goes by the name Abdul Basit, is charged with one count of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization reports WRAL News.

According to the indictment, between April and the time of his arrest, he was arranging to provide personnel to al-Nusrah Front, an Iraqi group affiliated with al-Qaida that has claimed responsibility for hundreds of attacks in Syria in the last two years.

An affidavit of an FBI agent states that Sheikh repeatedly posted on his Facebook page links to news stories and videos backing a jihad in Syria. He also discussed with a government informant going to Syria to fight in that country’s civil war and that he was ready to be a “martyr,” according to the affidavit.

Believing the government informant could help smuggle him from Lebanon to Syria, authorities say, he purchased a one-way ticket to Lebanon.

An arrest report indicates Sheikh works at a local post office, but more information wasn't available Monday.

If convicted, Sheikh faces a maximum of 15 years in prison.

Editor's Note - My wife's company outside of Los Angeles is an example of the screwing of the American worker.  All of the American citizens on the 3rd floor were fired and their jobs sent to the Philippines.  On the 1st floor all of the American citizens were "phased out" and the entire floor is now filled with temp agency tech workers imported from India.  My wife and the few Americans left on the 2nd floor await their fate . . . and the screwing of America goes on and on.

In a public statement released post-government shutdown on Oct. 23, the Essential Worker Immigration Coalition (EWIC) wrote that it thinks Congress should focus on immigration reform efforts before the end of the year.

“Now that Congress can refocus after the showdown over the budget and debt ceiling, we are hearing calls from both sides of the aisle to go back to immigration reform,” EWIC wrote. “The Essential Worker Immigration Coalition (EWIC) is looking forward to continuing to work with the House of Representatives as it deliberates the important issue of immigration reform,” reports Breitbart News.

Among other groups, the EWIC represents the National Council of Chain Restaurants (NCCR). According to the group’s website, its board includes a who’s who of fast food restaurant executives.

The EWIC argued that despite unprecedentedly high unemployment rates, the industries it represents somehow need more workers. According to the September report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate in America stands a 7.2 percent and has not dropped below 7 percent since President Barack Obama took office.

“There is currently no effective process by which lesser skilled essential workers can immigrate legally other than a guest worker in a seasonal or temporary period position,” EWIC wrote in its statement. “Our American-born workforce will increase only 1% over the next 10 years. The restaurant industry alone projects a need for 15% more workers. There are simply not enough American-born workers to fill the jobs we expect to be created by a vibrant economy in the coming years.”


House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) has publicly stated he wants a conference committee with the Senate bill. "A lot of people are saying, just pass the Senate bill," Ryan said in July. "That's not what the House is going to do. I think we can make it better.”

The MP believes that the European and Finnish Islamization must be fought resolutely. According to him, it will require administrative and legislative changes, starting in Europe, immigration from Muslim countries in order to achieve reduced minimal levels.

 

- In addition, Muslims living in Western countries should be actively encouraged to move back to their home countries.

 

The remaining Muslims in Europe should in his opinion, “should enter into the integration agreement with the host state, in which they commit themselves to the life of a secular and liberal democratic social order in accordance with those standards.”

 

- This refers to the rejection of specific Islamic practices which war against the European way of life. If a person professing Islam can not adapt methods of integration defined by the framework agreement, it should result in the individual’s deportation.

 

In addition, Muslims have to, according to Immonen, be brought on an equal footing with the native population, which means ending positive discrimination as well as the case law which interprets hate speech.

 

- All in all, it would be desirable that the number of Muslims and the role of Islam in European societies remain as little as possible to maintain social peace on our continent.

 

Immonen has extensively categorized on his blog the problems which are, in his opinion, associated with the ”trend of Islamization”. Clueless in Wisconsin - Paul Ryan pushes amnesty for illegal aliens

• GOP Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan has been in hiding during the government shutdown and Obamacare debate.  It appears he has been using his time off to find ways to legalize up to 30 million or more illegal aliens to compete directly with Americans for jobs.
• Some GOP donors will withhold money from Republicans who obstruct "reform".

I have long felt that Congressman Paul Ryan (R - Wisconsin) was simply another turd that managed to float to the top of the Congressional bowl.

It appears I was right yet again, and it is time to flush.

Ryan was AWOL during the entire budget-Obamacare insanity.  That alone tells you all you need to know about him.  But it looks like he spent his free time trying to figure out how to legalize and/or import 30 million plus illegals to compete with Americans for jobs.

Several Republican executives and donors who are part of a lobbying blitz coming to Capitol Hill next week said they were considering withholding, or had already decided to withhold, future financial support to Republican lawmakers they believe are obstructing progress on immigration.
       

“I respect people’s views and concerns about the fact that we have a situation in the United States where we have millions of undocumented immigrants,” said Justin Sayfie, a lawyer from Florida who said he helped Mitt Romney raise more than $100,000 for his presidential campaign last year, in addition to helping other Republican candidates. “But we have what we have. This is October 2013. And the country will be better off if we fix it.”

Politico reported on Friday that the Speaker and other House GOP leadership figures are privately saying they do not expect a vote on immigration measures this year, publicly they say they want to hold a vote on something on the floor of the House.

In a shocking revelation made by a veteran U.S. counterterrorism expert, Judicial Watch reports that Hezbollah has infiltrated the Southwest United States by joining forces with Mexican drug cartels that have long operated in the region.

Judicial Watch has for years reported on the chilling connection between Islamic extremists and Mexican drug cartels. Levitt is a former counterterrorism intelligence analyst at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and State Department counterterrorism adviser. He also served as the No. 2 intelligence official at the U.S. Treasury where he operated the agency’s terrorism and financial intelligence branch reports Judicial Watch.

Levitt offers details of this mind-boggling collaboration between two powerful criminal enterprises in a new book titled: “Hezbollah: The Global Footprint of Lebanon’s Party of God.” A nonprofit dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamic extremism, the Clarion Project, profiled the book in a recent article titled “Growing Hezbollah Presence in Southwest U.S.”  

Hezbollah’s business relationship with Mexican drug cartels is a driving force behind this phenomenon, according to the analysis that quotes alarming excerpts from the book. For instance in 2009, a former Chief of Operations for the DEA said that Hezbollah uses “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels.”

A year later a man (Jamal Yousef) arrested in New York admitted stealing weapons from Iraq for Hezbollah and told authorities of a Hezbollah stockpile in Mexico that included 100 M-16 assault rifles, 100 AR-15 rifles, 2500 hand grenades, C4 explosives and anti-tank weapons. That same year a Hezbollah terrorist was captured in Tijuana and a senior Mexican military officer confirmed the group was conducting explosives training for members of Mexican drug cartels.

In the U.S., law enforcement officials across the nation’s Southwest region report a rise in imprisoned gang members with Farsi tattoos that experts say express loyalty to Hezbollah, the book analysis reveals. One U.S. law enforcement official is quoted as saying this: “You could almost pick your city and you would probably have a [Hezbollah] presence.”

The survey found only 40 per cent were able to identify St George’s Day as falling on April 23, compared with 71 who could give July 4 as the American national holiday and 42 per cent who knew that March 17 was the Irish one reports the UK Telegraph.

British Future, a think tank specializing in identity and integration which carried out the study, says the results suggest many English people are too “nervous” to celebrate St George’s Day.

It cites concerns among many that national symbols like the St George’s Cross flag may be interpreted as racist by others, and that celebration of the national saint’s day could upset ethnic minority groups.

It also accused politicians failing to “engage” with the concept of Englishness, to help to promote more pride in it.

Sunder Katwala, director of British Future, said: “Why shouldn’t we be able to celebrate Englishness? We’re all happy to come together as a nation when there’s football or cricket on, so why keep the flags in the drawer for the rest of the year?

“It’s a bit baffling that people in England will happily enjoy a pint of Guinness on St Patrick’s Day but then get nervous about celebrating St George’s Day too. We need to get over it and celebrate Englishness more."

Bulgaria looks to enforce their borders while American politicians fall all over

each other to import and legalize millions of illegal and legal immigrants.

Bulgaria has unveiled plans to deal with the growing numbers of mostly Muslim refugees from Syria that are approaching its borders from Turkey.

Ministers are said to have discussed new funding allocations to put up 30 kilometres of barrier fencing along the border with Elhovo, in an effort to prevent illegal entry via the border.

If approved, the fences will be built in the areas that are most susceptible to migrants, currently mostly Syrian, crossing into Bulgaria reports Euronews.

The Bulgarian deputy Interior Minister justified the proposal, saying that the fences would be put up in places where there are pre-existing transport systems on the Turkish side, so that cars and buses can reach the border.

“There is no visibility in the area and the Bulgarian border police can’t see the people crossing the border till the last minute,” he added.

Bulgarian ministers have said their aim is not to send refugees back to their home countries, but to better protect the border.

A recent report by national broadcaster BNT claims that dissatisfaction is growing among district mayors, who don’t want to accept refugees in their areas.

“Bulgaria aims to find a solution for Syrian refugees, which is a burdensome issue for the country, and prevent needless tension and worry among the citizens in the country,” said foreign minister Kristian Vigenin.

In September, the number of Syrian refugees in Bulgaria was put at 4,500. At the same time, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry made a statement saying that Bulgaria could not afford to fence up their border with Turkey.

The cabinet is due to continue to brainstorm the refugee issue on October 21.
